Where Bloggers Create 2016

I can't think of a better time to invite you over to my new blog!
Welcome to where I create.  A lot has changed since last year!
                                     Come on in . . .                                    Create:
Since it's a special occasion I picked up some flowers.   I love the look of mason jars as vases.

I created a new space to journal and create some paper crafts.
         Create:
I have space to draw and paint.  And journal in my Bible.

       Create:
I have a small rack holding paper because I like to look at it!  Some of my pens and pencils are stored in a wood caddy.  And behind it is my assortment of scissors and rotary cutters.

To the left of the table . . .
T:
This piece was a dumpster find at our previous apartment.  I had seen it sitting on a patio that was decorated Shabby Chic and admired it.  Believe it or not when the family moved this piece was left by the dumpster!
 T:   T:
This piece stores my pens and pencils in special containers.  They have a specific memory.
            T:
More paper is stored in the cabinet
And there is a guard dog standing watch to make sure everything stays in order. HeHe . . .
             T:
A neighbor saw the dog sign and had to buy it for me.  So sweet!

I'm a busy girl and have lots of different interests.  When I'm not crafting with paper and pens/pencils I am sitting at my sewing machine.
                    T:
My current work in progress.  A row house quilt.   My sewing space now is the dining room table.    When you live in a small space you make do . . .
T:
When I'm not sewing or when we're eating the sewing machine is moved into the bedroom to the art/crafting table.

And now to share where I really spend the most of my time!

Create:
I mentioned at the beginning of this post that this is a new blog.
I also blog at MyJourneyBack-TheJourneyBack.blogspot.com.
I have been having trouble with Google/Blogger recently so I've decided to move over here.
T:
Whether I'm blogging, sewing or creating art projects I surround myself with things that I loved.

I bet you were wondering what was in that box on my art table  . . .
T:
A collection of special books . . .
T:
This is where I store my tape.  And a couple of special donkeys because I love donkeys . . .
T:
In front of the books are my seed packets.  Some bunnies and my collection of small rulers for quilting projects.

When you live in a small space you have to find places to store your treasures!

And now back to the computer table and the treasures that surround me there . . .
Create:
Behind my computer is a stack of Lang nesting boxes.  I just love to look at them!
T:
On my right are books waiting to be read and reviewed.  In the tall cabinet behind I display some more rabbits.  And on the top shelf is the adorable paper birthday cake my DIL made for me!  So sweet!

There is a built in shelf above the desk top . . .

T:
A special angel given to my by one of my students. (I am a retired Preschool Teacher) I have Department 56 Christmas village.  I love the churches so I don't store them away in a closet.

To the left are more Bibles and devotionals and some other treasures . . .
 T:
The pigs are really old.  They were my mothers.  They always sat on a shelf in her kitchen.  She never used them.  I don't use them for the intended purposes.

I hope you enjoyed this little short tour to introduce myself and my new blog to you.

Please, please, please leave a comment and let me know you've been by!   And follow me.  I'll come and visit you and follow you!

Whew it was a lot of work cleaning up the place and getting it all ready for you!  I'm going to put my slippers on and settle in for a quiet evening!

Happy Trails

What a lovely creative space you have! I love how everything is organized and displayed. By any chance, are those pigs "Shawnee"? We have a cookie jar that has the same look, but not identical. My husband got it from a friend of him mom a long time ago.

It was nice to visit your creative spaces today. You are so organized but still have special items to look at in each area. I am glad you joined Where Bloggers Create and will be back to visit when I get the chance.
